원작자를 알수없는 "Ida Red"를 밑바탕으로 만든곡으로 알려져있으며
최초의 rock-and-roll 로 여겨지는 노래입니다.
발표되자 마자 흑백의 젊은이를 완전 매료시켰으며 rock-and-roll 시대를 열었습니다.
때문에 많은 가수들이 cover versions을 취입했습니다.
노래내용은 포드차를 몰고가는 주인공이 자신을 배반한 여성이 타고
있는 캐딜락을 쫒아가는 장면입니다.
포드차는 힘겹게 캐딜락을 쫒아가지만 여인이 탄 캐딜락은 포드를 재치고 달려갑니다.
하지만 곧 고장나 멈쳐 버립니다.
이상황으로 Chuck Berry는
